Printemps 2026

As part of the GemGenève 2026 gouache competition, every student from the third year of CFP Ars Genève, ETVJ, CPNE - Pôle Arts Appliqués, and from the second year of the DN MADe program at Lycée Edgar Faure were invited to design a piece of jewelry around the theme "IT'S BOLD!"

Goodbye gloom, hello to jewelry that dispels heavy thoughts—jewelry with a spirit that embraces playful, nostalgic winks, and unfolds in a pop palette.

While creativity in terms of materials and the type of jewelry to imagine was unrestricted, their only constraint was to incorporate between 3 and 5 of the stones provided by the dealer OSELIERI-RACINE in their creation.

The jury of the Fondation Eric Horovitz awarded the Fondation’s Coup de Cœur Prize to Chloé Morel from the École Technique de la Vallée de Joux (ETVJ) for her piece GRENOUILLE DE SOIRÉE (Evening Frog).

A round bag, a puffed throat, and a bold style: the most precious frog in your wardrobe. This evening bag, shaped like a frog, blends audacity and elegance. Its hammered green metal structure delicately catches the light, while its puffed throat shines with a beautiful glow. The gold-colored opening pairs perfectly with its yellow gold chain, adding a touch of luxury. By combining refined craftsmanship with a surprising animal, I wanted to create an object that is both original and colorful, full of fantasy. Its round and generous shapes reinforce this bold approach, bringing as much humor as personality.

Chloé Morel, ETVJ

Materials:
The spherical bag is made of anodized green metal with a hammered surface finish. Its puffed throat is made of the same metal, simply polished. The opening, chain, and feet are in yellow gold.
The white of the eyes and the black of the pupils are enamel. Set into the chain (that can be worn as a bracelet) are several precious stones, including a grossular garnet, a cat’s eye tourmaline, and a peridot.
